What is ShiftPlan?
ShiftPlan is a responsive resourcing tool created to minimise disruption to workplaces caused by staff shortages and absence. It allows employers to quickly react to staff absence by giving them access to a pool of available supply staff, and empowers the supply staff by allowing them to share their availability and respond to work requests accordingly.
The app has three portals - administrator, operator and user. The administrator portal gives your head office the authority to manage its database of temporary staffing resources across multiple departments and services, and access reporting features. The operator portal allows individual branches or departments to post when they have a capacity gap, and view and respond to available supply staff. The user portal allows supply staff to share their availability and quickly respond to shift requests.

- Accountable - Audit facilities within ShiftPlan allow for full traceability of activity. This requirement is further supported by the system’s reporting tools.
Is ShiftPlan web-based?
Yes, it is. It is compatible with major browsers including, but not limited to, Chrome, Firefrox, Edge, Safari and Opera.
ShiftPlan is now also available in app form! Users can easily share their availability and respond to shift requests on the go.
Is ShiftPlan compatible with Android and Apple devices?
Yes, it is fully compatible with both Android and Apple devices.
Can you tell me about the ShiftPlan app?
The ShiftPlan app has been designed to make it even easier to fill capacity gaps. The app sends supply staff notifications when new shifts are posted, which they can then easily accept or reject within the app. They are able to set their own availability, view upcoming shifts, and access helpful information like venue directions. The app is easy to navigate and has been designed to be as user-friendly as possible.
Can reports be generated via ShiftPlan?
The system has 4 pre-built reports, these are fully adaptable. We can make your data available in a way that works for you, these prebuilt reports were created to cover all bases.

Can ShiftPlan integrate with my organisation's existing HR and Payroll systems?
The systems can be integrated if API is available. There is currently a manual export required to upload to a 3rd party payroll system.
